Last weekend, on May 19th, the last episode of The Blacklist in season 3 was aired. But, it was for sure not the end of The Blacklist, because it is just about to start, and it is just about to turn into two!
I will not spoil any of the important facts that were revealed in the season finale of The Blacklist, but what we do know is that The Blacklist will continue this upcoming autumn, but it will also divide into two. Not only will we be able to watch The Blacklist, but we can expect another series named The Blacklist: Redemption to come to our screens in a while. This spin-off from The Blacklist will feature Scottie Hargrave (Famke Janssen), Ryan Eggold (Tom Keen), Tawny Cypress and our bad guy throughout the entire season maybe turning good (Solomon) will also come along.
How this will influence the story in The Blacklist is not yet known and in some way they will probably need to remove these actors from the original story, so it will be very interesting to see how they will fix these. The executive producers will be the same for The Blacklist and The Blacklist: Redemption, so hopefully they have a good idea on how they want to bring this on and make both TV series worth watching.
I do not know anything about when we can expect The Blacklist: Redemption to be aired, but since the TV series was just recently ordered it probably means that we will at least have to wait until spring 2017, if not autumn 2017.
